Article for The Atlantic – June 4, 2012

Another article for the Atlantic, this time about Japan’s plan to burn irradiated earthquake debris in facilities around the country… including my home town of Kyoto.  Hopefully, Japan’s Ministry of the Environment will see how bad this plan looks from an international perspective… whether you are a prospective tourist, a consumer of Japanese imports, or someone who loves Japan and Japanese culture… incinerating radioactive debris all around Japan seems like an unnecessary and very very bad idea.

  4. Glad you liked it Lori. While there are many approaches to take (and probably need to be taken) it all starts with a powerful conversation. In your work, have you found that seems to always be the last component to the equation?

  5. That insight’s perfect for what I need. Thanks!

  6. I am looking forward to the description of your process as well. Since you claim to be a slow typist, and you don’t outline, I am especially interested in how you avoid blind alleys in the plots.
